This year, SmartZip took its talent to sunny Long Beach, California where we shared our unique and innovative approach to real estate prospecting in the digital age. Between enjoying the sun, and making sure to get our booth in tip-top shape, our team shared and brought back client success stories that have our big picture, growing bigger.
The California Association of Realtors Expo 2013 opened at the Long Beach Convention Center. The state's largest real estate trade show offered three full days of seminars, boot camps and networking opportunities for realtors. Realtors were excited to learn about our latest features, including our newly launched SmartTargeting Mobile App. You can check out some of the highlights from the event by looking at the comments shared on Twitter.
We were thrilled to meet with several of our clients. It's always great to check-in, see our clients face-to-face, and hear about their success. Jim Sallinger, a realtor with SRG properties in Anaheim, stopped by to say hello and share how he has been using SmartTargeting to improve his marketing strategy. Jim also couldn't wait to use our new mobile app!
What key takeaway did we learn from this enormous event?
Big Data is the future of precision real estate marketing. C.A.R. put emphasis on the importance of Big Data in real estate with guest speaker, Kenneth Cukier. Data Editor of The Economist, and co-author of the New York Times bestseller Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work, and Think, Kenneth shared why data and analytics has become "the oil of the information age". According to Kenneth, "big data provides statistics in a matter of seconds or minutes, not the weeks or even months it takes to receive a report such as S&P/Case–Shiller Home Price Indices."
SmartZip believes big data is the future of real estate marketing to both potential clients and existing clients. The future of real estate lies in understanding how to use data insights, and SmartZip understands big data like no other… We hope to see you all next year at C.A.R. 2014comments powered by Disqus
