In a speech he gave to the crowd on Thursday, KW co-founder and chairman of the board Gary Keller mentioned four top trends that agents should be paying attention to. What kind of home can you get for $5,000 a month?
We spend a lot of time talking about median home prices in different markets, but rarely do we get the opportunity to talk about how different the median home is in each city. This great roundup from Trulia shows what a $5,000 monthly mortgage payment will get you in six different U.S. cities. We couldn't help but notice that they highlight Atlanta, Georgia, as a market where you can get more house for your dollar. We noted the same thing in this infographic on how home prices can greatly affect homebuyer finances over time.
How to host the best community event
The last few weeks of summer are a great time to host a client event before your sphere gets busy with back-to-school events, fall sports and soon after that... the holidays. While this RE/MAX Above article focuses on a Canadian holiday event that may not resonate with you, it's a great example of how to ramp up community pride. What's going on with mortgage interest rates
It isn't often that the Federal Reserve can have us waiting on bated breath, but the notes released from their September meeting are having just that effect. Even as positive employment news trickles in, soft inflation numbers have some members of the Fed on the fence about moving too soon. Meanwhile, critics are worried that the Fed will lose credibility if they don't make a move by year-end, as has been wildly predicted.
